Because of the holiday weekend, we have decided to cancel the Missoula Pub Sing scheduled for this upcoming Sunday, (July 5th). We will return to our regularly scheduled 1st Sunday sing in August. In the meantime… Don’t you fret! In it’s place, we’ve planned a very special July Pub Sing for the Butte Folk festival. For those attending the festival, please join us Sunday, July 12th at 11am in the Butte Courthouse Rotunda. This location is a beautiful historic building from the 1910’s with the most gorgeous acoustics. It’s just a 5 minute walk from the festival and we’ll basically have the entire building to ourselves!

Pub Sing is a casual “singing jam” of sorts (not a performance!). A wide variety of songs are welcome, but ones with catchy choruses, call and response, or that are generally “sing-along-able” work best. We take turns leading songs, and everyone joins in on the chorus or other repeated parts. It’s also totally fine to just sing along! You don’t have to lead a song if you don’t want to.

Traditional songs, folk songs, sea chanties, etc. are all great genres to draw from. We sing a cappella, so no instruments are needed.
