Join us for the first installment of our Summer Squares series. This is a community dance open to all ages and abilities. All are welcome, no partner needed, all dances taught.

This is a welcoming learning environment that is suitable for those with basic proficiency on an old time instrument (think fiddle, banjo, mandolin, guitar). The jam will be led by experienced old time musicians.

Join LMOT and Friends for a Pub Sing, our newest LMOT programming!
This is a beginner-friendly collaborative singing gathering.

Pub Sing is a casual “singing jam” of sorts (not a performance!). A wide variety of songs are welcome, but ones with catchy choruses, call and response, or that are generally “sing-along-able” work best. We take turns leading songs, and everyone joins in on the chorus or other repeated parts. It’s also totally fine to just sing along! You don’t have to lead a song if you don’t want to.
Traditional songs, folk songs, sea chanties, etc. are all great genres to draw from. We sing a cappella, so no instruments are needed.
